About Lane Defense
Lane Defense is a compact tower-defence game. Raiders march along four lanes towards your base, and you place defenders on the grid to shoot them down. Coins arrive steadily, so deciding where and when to spend them is the whole game. Later levels bring tougher raiders and faster waves.
How to play
- Tap a square to place a defender. Each one costs 20 coins.
- Defenders shoot the nearest raider in their lane.
- Defeat every raider. If three reach your base on the left, you lose.
Tips and strategy
- Cover every lane early, because empty lanes leak raiders.
- Raiders stop to attack defenders in their way, so spread defenders along a lane.
- Save coins for the lane that is under the most pressure.
Levels, stars and XP
Finish a level to earn one to three stars and XP towards your player level. Replay any unlocked level to improve your stars. From level 151 the game enters endless mode, where each level is a remix of an earlier one with fresh colours and a slightly higher difficulty.
