About Odd One Out
Odd One Out is a colour-perception challenge. A grid of near-identical tiles hides one with a slightly different shade, and you have to find it. Grids grow larger and the difference shrinks as levels rise, training visual discrimination and focus.
How to play
- Look across the grid for the tile with a different shade.
- Tap it to move to the next round.
- A wrong tap costs one of your three lives.
Tips and strategy
- Relax your eyes and look at the whole grid at once instead of tile by tile.
- Tilt your screen brightness up if differences look too small.
- Take your time: accuracy decides your stars.
Levels, stars and XP
Finish a level to earn one to three stars and XP towards your player level. Replay any unlocked level to improve your stars. From level 151 the game enters endless mode, where each level is a remix of an earlier one with fresh colours and a slightly higher difficulty.
