About Code Breaker
Code Breaker is a Mastermind-style deduction game. A secret code of colours is hidden and you have a limited number of guesses. After each guess you learn how many colours are in the right place and how many are right but misplaced. Use that feedback to narrow down the answer.
How to play
- Tap colours to fill the four slots of your guess, then press Check.
- A gold peg means a colour is correct and in the right slot. A grey peg means the colour is in the code but in a different slot.
- Crack the code before you run out of guesses.
Tips and strategy
- Open with two colours twice, such as 1 1 2 2, to learn quickly.
- Change only one or two slots at a time so you can read the feedback.
- Colours can repeat in the code, so do not rule one out too early.
Levels, stars and XP
Finish a level to earn one to three stars and XP towards your player level. Replay any unlocked level to improve your stars. From level 151 the game enters endless mode, where each level is a remix of an earlier one with fresh colours and a slightly higher difficulty.
