About Knight Quest
Knight Quest places a chess knight on a board with some squares blocked. Reach the star using only knight moves, within a strict move limit. Each level is generated with a known shortest route, and the target gets further away as levels advance.
How to play
- Tap a highlighted square to move the knight there.
- Knights move in an L shape: two squares one way and one square sideways.
- Reach the star before you use all your moves.
Tips and strategy
- Work backwards from the star to see which squares reach it.
- Blocked squares force detours, so plan around them.
- Think in pairs of moves: two knight moves cover a wide area.
Levels, stars and XP
Finish a level to earn one to three stars and XP towards your player level. Replay any unlocked level to improve your stars. From level 151 the game enters endless mode, where each level is a remix of an earlier one with fresh colours and a slightly higher difficulty.
