Word Ladder shows a start word and a goal word. Each step changes exactly one letter to make a new real word. Pick the option that brings you closer to the goal. Starting words are further from the goal on higher levels, so more steps are needed.

- Reach the goal before you run out of lives.
Tips and strategy
- Compare letters position by position with the goal.
- Fix the letters that already match last, not first.
- Some one-letter changes are valid words but lead away from the goal.
Levels, stars and XP
Finish a level to earn one to three stars and XP towards your player level. Replay any unlocked level to improve your stars. From level 151 the game enters endless mode, where each level is a remix of an earlier one with fresh colours and a slightly higher difficulty.
